Sauble Trail At Sauble Falls Provincial Park

The Sauble Trail is located at the south east corner of Sauble Falls Provincial Park and follows along side the Sauble River. I managed to wake up early on my first morning that we stayed at the campground to explore the Sauble trail on my own without the kids. It was very peaceful to say the least. And by the time I got back to our site the coffee was ready.

On two different occasions I had to hike up some steps made of old railway ties. It was pretty cool seeing them in the middle of the forest like that.

I took a break at an opening which overlooked the Sauble river. The sun had just come up over the trees and was very bright so my photos didn't turn out to good. But the water was like glass there was no wind at all this early in the morning.

On the way back around the loop trail I walked through a red pine plantation and took a few pictures. I love the way the trees all line up like that.

If you are camping at Sauble Falls Provincial Park, take some time to walk the Sauble trail one morning. You will be glad you did. It was a perfect start to my morning.
